Founded in 2000, Stone Oak Jewelers opened its doors at its original jewelry store location in Stone Oak.
It was the family dream of Dan Dement and his son-in-law Mike Bowling.
Along with their wives Tobi and DeAnna, they set out to build the highest quality, technologically advanced store in Texas.
Dan, a gemologist, has spent the last 30 years in the high-grade diamond business while Mike, also a gemologist, concentrated his skills managing large chain jewelry stores.
San Antonio was in need of a different type of jewelry store—a casual store that provided high-quality jewelry at a reasonable price.
This was accomplished by hiring the most talented jewelers, then investing in the forefront of technological equipment.
Stone Oak Jewelers helped pioneer and develop new ways to manufacture metals and jewelry.
