Our Story
I learnt the trade of opal cutting starting in my dad's cutting workshop when I finished school in 2006. My dad's experience of 50 years in the trade has given me the skills to turn these rocks into cut and polished gems.

Highly respected in the opal industry, my father and uncle began working with opal back in 1968.

Together they would take an adventurous journey to Coober Pedy on the unsealed Stuart highway to buy opal and bring it back to Adelaide to be cut.

Many years later, my father is still cutting opal full time and loving it as much as he did when he first started.

​Growing up, my mother always had her hands in opal as well.

From cutting opal to handling the book work and raising a family - mother's sure know how to juggle a work/life balance!

Being raised in the opal industry from a family of opal cutters, I am incredibly grateful to bring quality cut Australian opal at true wholesale prices to the world.

​My wife - where most of my creative ideas stem from, works along side me from our dugout in Coober Pedy with ideas on business and contributing towards higher quality results. We both share the love for this incredible stone and taking on the challenges it brings..
