Arthur Blank, Pat Farrah, Ron Brill, and Bernie Marcus founded Home Depot in 1978. At that time, the company had just two locations in Atlanta, Georgia. It ran close to 1900 shops by 2005. One of the biggest home improvement businesses in the world today, Home Depot has more than 2200 locations globally. Its goal is straightforward: by providing everything from tools and building supplies to furniture, garden supplies, and home décor, it helps clients create better living places.
